Praveen Ranjit BM, FRCP(C)
Chief of Medicine, Southlake Health
Dr. Praveen Ranjit is a Royal College–certified respirologist and internist, currently serving as Chief of Medicine at Southlake Health in Newmarket. He completed his medical degree at the University of Southampton in the UK, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine and Respirology at the University of Alberta. He further specialized with a Sleep Medicine fellowship at Western University. Dr. Ranjit is also the Director of the COPD Clinic at Southlake. In his current leadership role, he leads several initiatives aimed at improving hospital care for patients with COPD, congestive heart failure, and pneumonia. In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, he is an active medical educator and regularly speaks at sponsored educational events throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
