Jonathan Pelikan MD MSc FRCPC
Treasurer, Association of Canadian Community Epileptologists and Seizure Specialists (ACCESS)
Dr. Jonathan Pelikan is a general neurologist and epilepsy specialist, working in Humber River Health’s Stroke Prevention Clinic and Neurology Urgent Care Clinic. He is also treasurer of the Association of Canadian Community Epileptologists and Seizure Specialists (ACCESS), a newly formed group of epilepsy specialists based in the community aimed at helping improve epilepsy patient care in Canada. After graduating from medical school at the University of Alberta, he completed a neurology residency at Western University, during which time he was chief resident in his fourth year. After residency he completed a 1-year epilepsy and electroencephalography (EEG) fellowship at Western University, before moving back to his home in the GTA. He sees patients for a variety of different neurological conditions, but has a special passion for epilepsy.
