Moska Hamidi MD, MPH, FRCS

Dr. Hamidi completed her medical school training and general surgery residency at Western University, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. During her general surgery residency, she also completed a Master of Public Health at Harvard University. She then came to the University of Toronto to complete a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and bariatric surgery, followed by a fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Since, she has been a permanent member of the Division of General Surgery at Humber River Hospital. In addition to endocrine surgery, she has a strong interest in minimally invasive surgery and surgical sonography.
Current research interests include endocrine disorders (thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disease), the use of artificial intelligence in surgery, and gender, diversity and inclusion in healthcare. She is a member of many surgical organizations, including the Canadian Association of General Surgeons, the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and SAGES.
