- Describe the pathways of treating diabetic food disease.
- Identify patients at high risk of developing diabetic foot disease.
- Define the association between peripheral arterial disease and diabetic foot ulcers.
- Define a hybrid model of virtual and physical diabetic foot care.

Asem Saleh MD, FRCSC, Vascular Surgeon,
Division of Vascular Surgery, Humber River Hospital; Medical Director, Toronto Vascular Surgery; Lecturer University of Toronto.
Dr. Asem Saleh is a Vascular Surgeon with the Division of Vascular Surgery at Humber River Hospital and is the Medical Director at North Toronto Vascular Surgery. Dr. Saleh is also a lecturer at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Saleh graduated from medical school at Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine and remained in Hamilton to complete his surgical residency in Vascular Surgery. During his training, he also completed advanced training in Nuremberg Germany with an emphasis on treating complex arterial disorders using endo-surgical hybrid techniques.
Dr. Saleh has a special interest in diabetic foot disease, limb salvage and education.
