Here is a brief summary of how I found my way to Humber River Hospital within the division of Orthopaedics. I completed my undergraduate degree at McGill University and went on to complete a Masters degree in vascular pathology in Toronto. I worked for a year in Boston at a lab affiliated with Harvard doing research. I moved from the States to start my medical degree at the University of Toronto in 2002 but took a hiatus to pursue another interest that had been grumbling along for several years; competing for Canada internationally as a rower. After several world championships and participating in the 2004 Olympics I returned back to medicine and completed my degree. I continued on to do an orthopaedic upper extremity & trauma fellowship in Toronto in 2013 and a second fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty in Toronto in 2017.
I started at Humber River in 2017 doing a trauma practice and gradually transitioned to incorporate hip and knee arthroplasty. Currently, the scope of my practice includes general orthopaedics with a subspecialty in primary and revision hip and knee replacements. I have an interest in partial knee replacements (oxfords) and have trained to do the anterior approach for total hip replacements. My surgical focus is mainly knee and hip replacements, knee scopes and trauma cases
