Syed Najaf Nadeem MBBS, FRCPC, FACC, MBA
Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto
Dr. Nadeem graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at The Aga Khan University, Pakistan. He then came to Canada for Coronary Interventional training at Dalhousie University, Halifax and subsequently Adult Congenital and Structural Heart Disease Interventional fellowship at Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network. He has received his certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Nadeem has been a member of the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University and Staff Interventional cardiologist at QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax for more than ten years. He served as a Senator at the Dalhousie University Senate. He developed the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Interventional (TAVI) program in Halifax. He also served as Director for Clinical Associate program at QEII. He has recently joined Humber River Hospital as the Head, Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine.
